Measuring an Existing Ring Size

  1. Choose a ring that fits the finger you intend to wear your new ring on.
  2. Place the ring on a ruler and measure the inside diameter.
  3. Alternatively, trace the inner circle of the ring on a piece of paper and measure the diameter.
  4. Use the measurements to find your ring size using a size chart or online ring sizer.

Measuring Finger for Ring Size

  • Wrap a strip of paper around your finger at the desired ring placement.

  • Ensure the paper is snug around your finger, pulling tightly for the best fit.

  • Mark where the paper meets and measure the distance with a ruler (in millimeters).

  • Refer to the chart below to find your ring size.

Helpful Tips!

Measure your fingers in the evening when they are at their full length.

Keep your fingers warm as cold weather can shrink them by up to half a size.

Avoid measuring your fingers after consuming alcohol or salty foods, as they can cause swelling.
